I want to see my past lives, but I can't
Bernardo Tahan Gómez
I think one of the blog posts that really grabs people's interest, is the one about the difficulty of seeing past lives. People want to see them, they're curious, but it's not easy. At the beginning, it's tough, but that difficulty doesn't stay the same all the time. The difficulty in seeing your past lives or reincarnation processes gradually decreases over weeks. You have to get used to this process, but I'm sure you can do it. If you haven't started or don't want to do a self-regression, you can get in tune with this idea with some simple preliminary steps that will prepare you for or open you up to this meditation. I'll give you simple tips that you can apply in your daily life. I've done them, and they've helped me a lot, even after seeing my past lives.
For example, when you're in your vehicle, turn off the radio. Don't listen to anything. Stay in silence. If you have to be in traffic for half an hour, fifty minutes, try turning off the radio and embrace the silence. Stay with your thoughts. Don't try to distract yourself or grab your phone; just share the space with yourself. Let all those thoughts come up one by one. Don't judge, don't question yourself. Don't give your opinion. Let everything arise in your mind; you'll see how many things come one after another. Don't be afraid of it. These are your sensations trying to surface; they're hidden in your soul, and the brain, having no idea where they come from, tries to give them an explanation, a symbolism. The brain, in a way, is an infinitely inferior organ to the capacity and wisdom of the soul, which records everything. The soul knows and understands; the brain tries to interpret and give a poor explanation to everything.
You can do this every time you're alone or even surrounded by people. If you're on the subway or a bus, don't look at your phone. Try to be as calm as possible, seeking inner silence even if you're surrounded by people. Don't use your phone during the journey. Start softening that inner wall between us and our soul. Start listening to it, perceiving what it wants to tell you. If you're at home, doing a hands-on, non-intellectual task like cleaning or cooking, do it without playing music, without trying to turn up the volume on the TV. Do it in silence but perceiving what your mind is trying to tell you. Obviously, this is not a self-regression, but it's like a previous preparation. Getting used to being alone with ourselves. Whether you're running, walking, hitting the gym, or waiting in line at the bank, try to find the silence within you. Internal silence is the key to everything. When we make an effort to be silent, we can start to hear what our soul is trying to tell us.
Gradually, over time, you'll find that being alone with yourself becomes a habit. Trying to find a bit of silence within you. If when you try to be alone, without noise, without a phone, without radio, you hear a multitude of thoughts, ideas, anxieties, internal voices, it's because things aren't right within you. It shouldn't be like that. It's not your natural, ideal state. You don't have to settle for it. Your natural state is silence. Your natural state is tranquility. You're not a sea full of huge waves. You should be a calm lake, like a mirror. There's nothing wrong with your head. Don't worry. It's just the thousands of sensations recorded in your soul, the product of your past lives, pulsating, trying to surface, and your brain can't decipher or understand because they're not connected. Your soul is infinitely superior to the capacity of your brain. Your soul runs on Windows 11 (2021), and your brain runs on Windows 95. They don't understand each other, and the brain can't open the files that the soul supplies. That's all. BT.
